  Transferring Part of Clip to After Effects

  Ok I used the razor tool to cut my clips into parts but now I want to just transfer one clip into After Effects. How do I do that because I’m going to do this multiple times?

  Copy and paste. Note that you can only paste Premiere timeline clips inside an After Effects composition (not the project panel), or paste Premiere project panel clips inside the After Effects project panel.

  So make sure you first create a composition that matches resolution and frame rate, as well as equal or better length.

  Or you can import the entire timeline using the import Premiere project function in After Effects.

  I would recommend rendering to uncompressed out of After Effects if you need to bring the clips back to Premiere, or this will impose some heavy processing on your system.
