Newbie question on video/audio in menu
Hi everyone.
Brand new to this forum, and don’t know that I even belong here. I’m in the process of authoring a leave-behind DVD for potential customers of my small business. I’m using Premiere Elements 2 but have access to Premiere Pro should I need to go that way. But currently Elements 2 does everything I need….until now.
The program only allows a 30 second long video/audio background for the DVD menu…and then the video/audio loops endlessly. I would like to use the menu background as a location for a 1 minute long introduction that ends with a graphic and doesn not loop. I.E. me on-camera saying “Hi My name is Mark Thoma and I’d like to tell you about….” as soon as the DVD is inserted. Ideally the menu ‘buttons’ for the three ‘sample’ videos about my company would appear near the end of my on-camera introduction but I could live with the buttons being on the screen the entire time.
Is there inexpensive software available that does what I need or am I better off taking my files to a commercial production house?
Thanks in advance.
Mark Thoma
