Can anyone tell me how to control the speed of the numbers effect? Specifically- slow it down. I’ve tried precomping and time stretching, and I can’t find any controls for it in the effect itself. I’ve also searched in the archives to no avail.
    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

You could try to set keyframes under Value/Offset/Random Max to be closer in value. Or set keyframes further apart.

You could render the number animation with alpha and use time remapping. Try changing the frame rate of the comp.

eriness: Pre-compose the Layer. Then apply the Posterize Time effect (Time category) to the pre-comp. If you set the effect value to 5, for example, the numbers will definitely slow-down (update 5 times per second).
