  Only audio, no video in program window

  I am editing on premiere. 6 The problem is I have only audio and no video on the program window . you can play the clip on the source monitor and see the video and audio playing but once you put the clip on the timeline then you just have

  It is likely the video codec is incompatible with Premiere. The Source window works the same as media player, but not the Program window. Use GSpot to determine the codec.

  If the previous post didn’t solve your problem – are you running dual monitors? I’ve run in to this problem every now and then where you set your timeline program monitor on your secondary monitor and the graphics card isn’t set up to display that video properly so you only get audio. Returning the timeline program monitor to the primary monitor will fix it.
