    Hi

I recently imported video and audio from a Panasonic AG-HVX200 into Premiere Pro CS3.2. I am not getting any audio but I do see in the Audio Master Meters, audio levels. All other applications have sound, just not Premiere Pro.

Any advice would sure be appreciated!

Try to play it in Bridge and see if you have audio there.

If so, it probably has to do with your audio drivers setup.

I’m not sure if that is in Preferences or you may have to go back to your Control Panel and fiddle with the settings. I’m assuming you have more than one audio driver.

    It does play in Bridge.

I even put in a .wav file and still no audio in Premiere Pro.

I think I have only one audio driver.

Does the audio play in the project panel?

Do other files play fine, just not this one?

Put another video right above the problem video and see if you can hear sound.

Also move the video/audio to another timeline, just to make sure the volume is not turned down.

How did you fix the problem? I´m having the same problem. Does it have to do with the driver?
    Cheers

Hey. I had the same problem. Just figured out how to fix it and so I figured I’d share the knowledge.

Edit –> Preferences –> Audio Hardware –> ASIO Settings. From there just make sure all the devices are checked.

    Hope this helps someone!

I am having a similiar problem. I check my preferences and it looks fine. All the clips i captured in hdv last week work perfect but the clips that i captured from vhs last month were working fine until yesterday. I now only get audio levels but no sound. My HDV clips are still working properly. Any Other Ideas??
