“Hey. I had the same problem. Just figured out how to fix it and so I figured I’d share the knowledge.
Edit –> Preferences –> Audio Hardware –> ASIO Settings. From there just make sure all the devices are checked.
Hope this helps someone!”

I’ve spent 3 days trying to solve this problem, so far. With no results.
I’m running a Gateway with Windows 7 Home Premium, and an onboard Realtel HD Audio card. I have no problems, at all, with playing audio or video in any of my programs, EXCEPT for Adobe Premiere CS3. When I load the avi clips into Adobe Premiere, I can see the audio. But when I play it, nothing. No sound at all. The video plays fine in the preview window.
I’ve tried dozens of different files. No change.
I’ve got the latest Realtek drivers. No change.
I’ve gone into Preferences, made sure the ASIO setting has the Realtek HD Audio chosen. No change.
If I can’t get this fixed, I’m going to chuck it. Never had a lick of a problem for years with Adobe 6. So much for the glories of upgrading.
