Need help setting up project?
Posted by Sean Tatalovich on September 28, 2007 at 10:08 pmI am putting together a project of newsclips from TV but there quality is already pretty low. Footage I have isn’t the greatest.
This will be viewed on desktop only but I am worried about quality.
I chose in project custom > desktop and the rendering quality was raduim which is bad right?

September 28, 2007 at 11:50 pmWhat format is your footage in, and how was it captured? This will help determine which preset is best for you.

September 29, 2007 at 9:38 amIf you just need to make cuts with no effects or titles, QT Pro can do the cuts and stitch pieces together WITHOUT re-rendering. Re-rendering will cause another generational loss of quality.
Otherwise create a custom project with the same resolution as the source and edit in Premiere. -
