The guy that sets up out monitors doesn’t understand in computers and I don’t understand in monitors. He says that the little TV monitor is hooked up OK to my computer and if I don’t see my timelines playing on the external monitor, it must be some setting in the Adobe Premiere I need to set. I use Premiere Pro 2.

IS there a setting to change in order to see my program monitor on an external monitor?

In order to see your preview window on an external monitor, you will need a firewire connection from your machine to either a Digital/Analogue converter, or through a DV camera, then to the monitor.

Then simply go to the playback settings and enable external DV playback.

Thanks, but the problem was I wasn’t opening projects with MATROX. Now it works.
