adobe premiere pro 1.5 – cutting lines into images?
Hopefully this is my last problem with premiere, but it’s something that’s been bugging me. Sometimes it seems as if premiere is cutting horizontal lines out of some of my video tracks. Sometimes it shows the lines actually cut out in the preview window, and then other times, everything looks fine until I export it, and for example the last 1 or 2 frames of a scene, one layer has lines cut out of it (but every frame looks perfect in the preview).
The effect is like this, a horizontal line that goes all the way across, and 1 pixel tall, is “cut” out of a layer, the next 1-pixel layer down displays normally, then the next ones cut out, next normal, etc.
The most noticeable place is a “bug” i’ve animated on its own track. It was just a soft-edge brush dot in Photoshop of white/yellow color, and I’m using the .psd file directly. I animated it around in premiere so it looks something like a will-o-wisp. The soft edges of it have the previously mentioned lines cut out of it, in the preview, and in the render. Any ideas what is causing these cut out lines? It’s a neat effect but I’m not wanting to do it! 🙂
My general properties are:
Editing mode: Video for Windows
Timebase: 30 frames/secondFrame size: 320 x 240
Pixel aspect: Square Pixels (1.0)
Fields: lower field first
Display: 30 fps
