Does anyone know if there is a file size limitation for rendering QT movies out of Premiere? I have one work area that gets to 99.9% and then generates a “Unknown Error” – “Error compiling movie”, the movie is uncompressed and ends up being 4.3gb. I have plenty of disc space so thats not an issue and I can form the same time line render a different work area and not inncur a problem

What is man that you should be mindful of him?

Are you using FAT32 or NTFS?, FAT32 has a 4gig file limit.

There is a 4 GB file size limit (regardless of file system) on many legacy codecs that are not Open DML. Try rendering in smaller chunks.
