Church Video Ministry
The church that I attend has had a video ministry for quite some time but they are still in the dark ages (VCR, SD, old equipment). I am the computer guru at the church, but not the video guru. They want to purchase a new video editing system and I have been asked to help. I have some basic experience with AE and Premiere but I don’t know much about the hardware options that available for video production in today’s world and quite honestly, it is a bit overwhelming. All the editors involved in the ministry have basic Premiere skills and that is the program that they would like to stick with.
I would like them to be able to continue with the SD world for the moment but have a system that can easily handle HD. They have plans to purchase some HD cameras in the near future. They are currently using a Matrox card on a 2.4 GHz machine and it is way past time to replace it. I would really appreciate any help that you could give me. I am also interested in some information on storage solutions for video.
