  Motion->Scale to 90% results in blurry image

  Hi Gang,

  I have a DV clip that I scale to 90% using Motion->Scale (Uniform Scaling) in Premiere Pro 2.0. The image becomes blurry.

  I take the same clip and scale it down to 90% in After Effects 7.0 Pro and the image remains clear.

  Is there something I am missing? Why is premiere making the image blurry?

  I have the same problem not only with scaling but also rotation.

  I found that using the transform plugin effect from the effects folder does a better job then the FIXED transform options in the effects panel.

  Let me know if this helps when you try it.
