    Hi,

I have a problem with motion plugin in premiere pro 2.
I have a project with the dimensions of 2405×1300 pixels. I use still image (Tiff) sequences in it. The sequences are 2464×1648. Now I want to move one of the clips a little bit up, becaus I have around 200 pixels left on the side anyway. But when I use Premiere Pro’s motion plugin for that there is a problem. In the preview screen (in premiere) it looks all ok. But as soon as I export it as a Tiff or as any avi file, there appears a black bar on the bottom (I moved the sequence a little up). So instead of using the rest of the pictures below it (as I want it) it just cut it off and than move it up. Is there a way to avoid this and get premiere to render the lower part of the image as well?

thank you very much for you time.

Before you imported the image, did you have the “Default scale to frame size” option turned on in the preferences?

I discovered the solution. I was working in a DV 16×9 project (720X576 1,422 pixel asp.). The motion thing only seems to work correctly in a square pixel project…… When I did the same thing in a 1024X576 1,0 pixel asp. it all worked well…. What unfortunaly didn’t work was making a new project with the square pixel and importing the old project. I needed to redo the compleet editing from the source, thanks to adobe.
