    I am trying to use the Multi-Machine render feature and I have collected the files to one place. However, when I watch the folder, it just says that there is no render control file in folder after it counts down. What am I doing wrong?

    use the right setting for multiple render and then create a *.txt file called “your_project_name”_RCF.txt

    and paste this text;

    After Effects 6.5v1 Render Control File
    max_machines=5
    num_machines=0
    init=0
    html_init=0
    html_name=””

    after that relanch your watch folder

    Make sure you’re rendering as an image sequence with “Skip existing files” selected in render settings. Also make sure “Enable Watch Folder” is selected & “Max Number of Machines” is correct in the Collect Files dialog box. These are some of the usual culprits.
