Canon XF300 Sky Detail Issue
Howdy. I recently upgraded from an XH-A1S to a XF300 in January and I’ve consistently had a very specific issue with it. Even though the camera is (to my knowledge) set entirely to manual, and nothing in the foreground will change in terms of exposure values, the sky detail will rapidly change to gray and back as objects move across the screen. I recently had this seen by Glazer’s in Seattle and their video camera person is on leave, so they suggested that I post in the forms (I’m cross-posting elsewhere) since I was not able to find any information about this online despite now months of looking. I’ll attach a couple of screenshots to show how the image is changing as the train moves across it. It’s usually *just* the sky detail that changes, not anything else. I’ve also factory reset it twice now and the same effect happens. Is there a sky detail setting that I am missing in the manual?
I’ve attached a google drive link to the .mxf file of the attached screenshots, that should be uploaded within the next half hour. Thanks!
