    Hey guys,

This screenshot will clearly sum up the issue I’m having. I’ve been dealing with this for a while now and I hate turning down the mirror just to make that not appear because it makes the mirror look off.

Any ideas how to make that go away? I’ve tried tweaking the start & end ranges, all the boxes you can check and uncheck. I did right now find a semi-fix, but it’s still adjusting the mirror, just the angle….

Is there a way to fix it without having to give up quality of the mirror effect on the visualizer?

    Thanks!

i can’t seem to replicate that issue with the mirror effect…. it may just be an artifact that got cached. try choosing edit>purge>all to force AE to re-render cached frames and see if it goes away.

if not, try doing the same effect and settings on a new layer (some other image or footage you have) and see if the same issue exists. If it does, let us know what version of AE and OS you are using; if not then we’ll need to troubleshoot the layer/comp that mirror is applied to.
