I have had Canon Mark D III. It’s been wonderful. It’s old, still going strong. I am not a professional, more for fun, artistic. I have done video with it [shot a feature film, short that wasn’t the main reason] its awesome. Now I’m in the third act, I’m old, and I sprained my wrist using the III with a 70 – 200 lens [which is beautiful] weight with the camera and lens is a little over 6 lbs. I’m considering the Canon 6, mirrorless. I had used someones 5, it was fine, light. I do a little video, animal shots, and a lot of still lifes, I look to have fun. [If I get back into a lot of video more seriously, I would get a camera for video, I would want the ND and XLR]
I’m procrastinating, I’m insecure there are so many – buying a camera is like a car, once you buy, value drops as you walk out of the store. This forum has been excellent in sharing ideas and recommendations that have saved me a lot of mistakes. Thanks in advance ….
