  • Copying Text AND Styling from a ‘Master’ text layer

    I need to edit some text but for multiple compositions.

    I figured I would try to make a ‘master’ text comp so when and set expressions to follow the master. However when I try do this, it copies the actual text, but not the styling. See examples below attached:

     

    (I also tried to use this expression but does not work)

     

    Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

    Unfortunately, any time you apply a source text expression, all the characters are going to get the same styling.
