  Change Info Settings?

  How can I have the info panel give me the color hex? I need a convenient color reader.

  Click the hamburger menu button at the upper right corner of the Info panel, then choose “Hex” as the color display format.

  I’m still using 2014.3 mostly. I guess I’m out of luck.

  This feature goes way back! Here are a couple of screengrabs from Ae CC 2014 to illustrate the process:

  Click the “hamburger” menu at the corner of the Info panel:
  

  Select “web”:
  

  Now your color readouts in the Info panel will be hex:
