Guys I need help with these points to make my logo beveled
Image of project:
Alright guys this is a school project
To make this animated logo beveled I was given the following points to achieve this
1. Get rid of the green JPG and replace it with a green solid
2. Pre-compose layer 1 (the animated PNG), moving all attributes to the new comp
3. Delete the Black Solid (Layer 2)
4. Set the Alpha Track matte for the Red Solid (now layer 2)
5. Select the Bevil Alpha layer styles on the Red Solid and use the edit menu to Copy with Property links
6. Reveal layer styles on the bottom layer (Green Solid) and delete Bevil Alpha
7. Add the Set Matte effect to the bottom layer and choose the nested comp top layer as the source (your pre-comp)
8. With the bottom layer selected (Green Solid) Ctrl/Cmnd + V to paste the Bevil and Emboss layer style and link all properties to the Red Solid layer (layer 2) so any adjustments you make on the Layer Styles settings in Layer 2 will show up in layer 3
Ok guys I was able to follow the first 5 steps but I got stuck at number 6, 7 and 8. For number 6, What do I have to click to reveal layer styles on the green solid and what do I click to delete alpha?
I just need to know what I’m to click to achieve these because as a newbie to Ae I’m not so familiar with some of the terms in Ae or where to find them.
I just need a clear explanation for the steps in 6,7 and 8 or a video explanation please
Thanks
