Using a HD video file as a transition
Hi everybody, I have a bit of an issue. I bought a transition pack from Savage, they are mp4 HD files. They also send me a pdf file on how to use them. I will attach the PDF and 2 transitions from them. When I follow the steps, I still see the video footage from the transition. Can anybody please help me to show what mistake I am making, please very desperate now! Maybe I am doing something very stupid and cannot see past this.

Those aren’t transitions. They are just two video files and the pdf show’s how you can use mattes as revealing transitions.
Also I can’t find anything about that company on Google so you might’ve gotten scammed.

Those files you got have nothing to do with the instructions you’ve been given. They do not have a black & white or an RGB matte nor an alpha channel. They are just video files of a crash zoom transition (that you can easily make yourself in Premiere fyi)
So if that is what you really got then this is pretty shady.
