Can you adjust the line spacing on the typewriter effect?
Is this possible? Nothing happens when I adjust line spacing using the typewriter effect. I assume this is the same as “leading.”

The answer to your question might be the “custom” title choice which has controls for direction, speed, sequence of write on and write off.

You can try opening the effect in motion and creating a copy. Adding the parameters you would like to control and publish the “new title” your custom version back to FCP.

Actually, the answer is to select the text in the viewer, then the adjust slider will work. You just can’t adjust it without selecting the text. Which is actually better, since you can select individual lines of text and adjust it independently of the rest.
