    Hi!

I am currently working on an animation in Red Giants Trapcode Form plugin and I’m having trouble getting a smooth animation without bad looking “stops”.

I primarily believe it’s a keyframes/easing problem, but I can’t pindown exactly where the problem is. It’s possible that it’s a technique I don’t know of or an expression that can solve my problems.

The project is very light so I can send it easily – I believe its possible to see the animation even without having bought the plugin you just get a watermark.

The “design” and duration of the animation needs to stay around +/- 10% of what I currently have.

I hope someone can help ☺

    Kind regards
    Emil

    Dear Emil
Thanks for your Post on the CreativeCow Forum!

As I am not very good with expressions and I had no clue how to make the viodeo smoother, I downloaded the project file you provided and changed the Easings in Comp 7.
I hope that was the right comp.

Anyways, here is your Project back as a zip:

And also I have rendered it out once so you could see it, here is the vimeo link:

Thanks a lot for the try! I still want the start and other parts smoothed some more so I will take a look at your easings and see if I can learn something to fix the start especially.

And research some expressions to see if they can make it better
