  • How to remove black bars from After Effects Template…

Hello guys! I’m new to AE. I just got a free template for a slideshow to make things a lot easier. I’m using AE 2018. When rendering/exporting, the video has black bars(top and bottom). In addition, the video clips I’ve imported into the clip are cut off due to the black bars. I would like to export the After Effects clip without the black bars. Any help with this? I’ll share the template in case you would like to take a look at it. I have full rights in doing so. Thanks in advance.

In the folder ‘Assets’ open up the composition, “All”. In that comp, Press the ‘Shy’ layers button(looks like a guy peeking over a fence). That will show the hidden layers, just delete or turn off the layer “Letterbox”
