  Transparent handwritten text reveal

  G’day,
  I am wanting to create a text title over a looped animated video. The text is to be a handwritten reveal as though someone is writing the text.

  I’ve found lots of tutes and in a way they all work, however the original font that I used to trace the mask path remains. So for example, there is my word visible already prior to the reveal animation (which works fine).

  How can i have it so the text is invisible, then it reveals.

  If I was working on a static solid background, easy. But I’m on a animated video background.

  What technique/effect are you using to reveal your word? If it’s ‘write-on’, You need to change the paint style to “Reveal Original Image.”
