  CC Time blend

  I am using CC Time blend with some “tron” type moving lines so that they fade smoothly at the ends (see image).

  It causes the graphics to jump randomly to different frames and it is VERY ANNOYING. Anyone come across this problem before??

  Maybe there is a different way I can create this effect that wouldnt cause any problems?

  The Vegas effect let you create animated lines following a mask. You can define the opacity for the start, middle and end of each line.

  I think that may be what you need.

  Thanks Fernando. However how would I keyframe/animate the stroke along the mask so that is is moving??

  Keyframe the rotation parameter to animate the position of the line.

  You may need to create a mask that goes way out of your screen/layer, so the line can go in and out.
