  Analog audio levels

  One of my clients, still working only in SD, is using the Io with FCP 5. Given their “prosumer” audio monitoring, I want to have the Io output at +18 dBu as opposed to +24.

  Even though I set this using the ProIo Control Panel, and saved it as a new setup, it seems to keep defaulting back to +24.

  What, if anything, am I doing wrong? Also, I seem to recall that there is an issue as to when one uses the control panel. Is it before opening FCP or after?
