  Proper way to capture 29.97 HD to 23.98p or 24P with Kona 3G

  long story short, I need to play out from a black magic decklink
  as HD 1080i 29.97, then capture that in another room to a Kona 3g
  as 1080P 23.98 or 24. (over hd-sdi)

  is that even do-able? I keep getting a split screen with
  a double image top and bottom when configuring the kona 3g
  from its control panel. And my broadcast monitor is freaking
  out instead of showing a stable image and indicating 48hz mode, (24 frame)
  which it is capable of (sony pvm-20/L5)

  disregard/never mind.

  I just dropped it in a 24P premiere cc sequence and it plays back perfect.

  update:

  Thought it was good but the Kona3G doesn’t do reverse pull-down,
  so it had to be ran through a Teranex.
