  dpx export problems

  Hi

  I am trying to convert the captured duallink video from telecine in fcp using the aja 10bit rgb codec, the converted DPX from the aja qt to dpx utility looks faded, like blacks look grey,

  what is the procedure to convert the aja 10bit rgb coded video to DPX??

  That would be because you are looking at a LogC interpretation of your original, correct?

  Use the included AJA QTTODPX translator, it is in the Aja Utilites folder to convert your QT movie to frames.

  I personally use VTRX to capture directly as DPX over DL, saves the secondary step of conversion.

  Hi Gary,

  i have-been using the QT TO DPX utility only , but on converting the RGB video QT the DPX looks faded like LOG images,

  what is the procedure to convert to DPX with the Correct colurs with out using the aja utility
