  DVCProHD 720p 23.98 to 1080sf output – General Error (92)

  Hi there~
  For starters, not sure if this is a Final Cut Error or a Kona error. I am outputting a DVCProHD 720p 23.98 timeline to 1080 psf (23.98). Working in Final Cut 6.0.4, Kona 3, AJA control panel 6.0.2. Mastering to Sony HDWS280.

  When I go to “Edit to tape” it starts the process – but then before it shuttles the deck it fails with the error: General Error (92).

  The in point for the assemble edit is : 00.58.40.00. And the duration of content is 14 mins. approx. The Deck is set up at 23.98psf.

  On the Kona Control panel – it show playback at DVCPro HD 23.98, and a 720-1080 convert to 1080sf23.98.

  Not sure what is causing this error. Any thoughts?

  What is your device control set to? It should be Sony 23.98 instead of Panasonic 59.94?

  Thanks for responding to the post. It turned out that it was my device setting – It was on the Panasonic 720p 59.94 – and after switching it to Sony 23.98 – poof the error went away.
