  KONA 3/LHe bug March 08

  Hi All,
  I’m working at a post house with 18 suites all using KONA 3’s or LHe’s. I’ve noticed that using non admin accounts sometimes causes issues with outputting external video:
  when i do an easy set up the kona changes (briefly) to whatever I set and then back to NTSC 29.97 as a default.

  It seems to be fixed by the latest drivers (5.1 NDD) but the problem comes back a few days later?!

  Any ideas?

  Another little bug I’ve noticed… One of the suites, again only on non-admin users, plays and sends the external video ok but as soon as you pause it jumps to whatever is in the viewer instead of holding the last frame. It also will not play externally when you scrub through the timeline using the mouse, but it will play externally using the ‘j’ ‘k’ and ‘l’ keys!

  I believe it is a problem with the latest drivers as I have changed the tower, KONA card and disk image,

  Could these be kona preferences permissions problem or just some crazy bugs?

  Any thoughts please…
