    After installing El Capitan, voice over starting recording with the pitch slightly up, random echo, and random instances of static. I’m running 10.2.2.

    Using H4n as a usb pass through for a Rode NT1-A.

    The time readout has also gone batty. As you can see the attached image.

    Do the settings on the Zoom (bit rate / sample rate) match those of FCPX? Maybe also have a peek in Audio MIDI Setup…

    The timecode display issue is a known bug with El Capitan. It shows correct TC, just the labels are wonky.

    Problem solved. The zoom was 44 kHz and the project was at 48 kHz. Thanks!

    I am having the same problem – were you able to change the MIDI setting for the Zoom (I’m not having luck doing that) or did you adjust setting inside FCPX? Thanks for any advice!
