Huh? Of the two images you posted, the FCP X viewer image looks correct. The master file displayed via QT Player looks wrong. This appears to be the opposite of your description.

You haven’t actually asked anything. You provided a screen shot of some bad footage. Yep looks bad. What’d you do to it?

The footage isn’t bad I’ve opened it in iMovie , and QuickTime and it was fine. But when imported into fcpx this happends.

But your screen grab shows it in Quicktime and it is messed up. The image has some sort of checkerboard pattern all over it. How is this good?

The screen shot shows the master file after it was saved. fCPx saves the file with the discoloration. If I instead of importing to fcpx and I just open in QuickTime straight from the camera the footage is fine. The footage only becomes messed up when imported into final cut

Please post a screen grab of the original file prior to FCP X. And also some technical specs, like codec, frame size, etc. What happens when you use a different NLE, like FCP 7 or Premiere Pro?
