  • Sequence of still composite will not render properly.

Posted by David Johnson on August 13, 2010 at 4:32 pm

I’ve created a sequence from a composite of still images, but when I render it I experience a lot of dropped frames. I need to edit this file in Final Cut after exporting it, so I wanted to know what format would be best to use, and what I may be doing wrong in the rendering process.

My current settings are the following:

    Format: Quicktime
    Output: Animation
    Audio: None
    Color: Alpha
    Spatial Quality:100%

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah, that’s what I thought. Do you know a way we could export this, have it run properly, retain image quality and work on it in Final Cut?

I tried ProRes, but it came out completely white. Could I be doing something wrong? Does it have something to do with the fact that I’m working with JPEGs and not video? I’ll try the other codec.

Figured it out. Just had to change the color mode to RGB. Thanks for the help.
