  comp time from selected layer short cut

  Is there a short cut that will change the composition settings timeline to the layer you have selected?

  Anyone? I have seen a shortcut key for this before but I don’t remember it.

  There’s no single shortcut, but this way is relatively fast:

  Set work area to duration of selected layers or, if no layers are selected, set work area to composition duration: Ctrl+Alt+B

  Then you can use Composition > Trim Comp To Work Area.
