  exporting pal dv from afx to final cut pro still requires a render?

  Im sure this is something so basic, yet i have checked and double checked my presets and both appear to be identical, yet when exporting some pal dv footage from afx and into fcp, i still have to render the sequence to see the video, redline all the way?
  so, im on mac
  im using in AFX
  PAL D1 presets also tried D1 square
  double checked
  720x 576
  best quality
  25fps
  RGB

  im using in FCP
  DV PAL 48K

  HELP

  hello dave
  i thought you had it there for a second, but rechecking the presets on this CS3 version, the composition preset im using is described as PAL D1/DV

  and the output settings are quicktime PAL DV 48khz

  yet still i need to render sequence in FCP?
