Newbie question here. I want to add lightning to an object as it crosses the screen, but I want intermittent, random looking bolts as opposed to continuous the entire time. I keyframed the start/end points for where I want them when, but I missing how to turn off the lightning in between. For instance, bolt wanted from second 2 to 3, none from 3 to 4, another bolt from 4 to 5, nothing from 5 to 6, etc. How do I shut off the lightning at these sections?

    Thanks in advance,
    Steven

Hold Keyframes changing layer opacity between 0% and 100% is one way.
