    Hi,

I made a file in AE which I am trying to export as a file which will be small enough to dowload quickly as a banner on the web. Because I used brush strokes, I had to rasterize them and this made the file big as a SWF export, 1-3mb. I could get the file small (330kb) by saving it as a 3gp file which plays as a quictime, but the person I sent it too couldn’t play in quicktime and was given the error number -8971 (and this format is not popular like SWF). what would be the best file format to solve this problem? I heard there are swf converters that can change 3gp into SWF, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

    Hugh

If I’m not mistaken 3gp is a file format specifically for mobile phones and other small handheld devices. You’re better off sticking to flash (.swf) as I don’t know of another format that’s going to give you the quality and size that flash does…

and you did say banner as in for web so… I don’t know.

    peace,
    Michael
