Read this post over on the film bakery blog about a one way workflow using FCP and Resolve for finishing.

Was excited to see if I could get it to work using PremierePro CS6.

My sequence in PPro was standard, although I had 1 dynamically linked clip from After Effects.

The result of my export-import was that ALL my audio files failed to be imported , the dynamically linked After effects clip didn’t make it, and many of my remaining clips were improperly scaled even though I clicked retain sizing info.

    What a mess!

The error message I get is
The clip ‘foo’ failed to link because the media file’foo’ is missing or has the wrong timecode extents.

Is this a wasted exercise for Premiere pro?

Is it impossible to properly import dynamically linked clips?

Will I have better luck using FCPX?

You should follow me on Twitter here. My latest work
