    Hello everyone,

I would like to make a dice that has no fill, only lines. the problem is when a do that, it looks like the dice is transparent, but I don’t want to see the lines that are behind.
I want to animate the dice and still be able to see just what’s in front, like it would be if the side had a fill color.
Is it doable? Maybe there’s a script to help me?

    Thank you!!!

would need to know more about how you have your dice constructed, but dan ebberts’ ‘layer invisible when facing away from camera’ expression might help.

you’ll find it here (with a good description of how it works):

it will only work if you are using 3d layers to create your dice ‘outlines’.

How about filling the sides with black or green and keying them out?

You can try playing with find edges and see if that’s what you’re after
