Resolve 9.03 lite on OSX 10.6.8 Macpro w/ a qualified BM Extreme HD card woke up this morning not wanting to send out full 1080, and is instead sending a scaled down 16:9 image, more like 720 inset on a black field. Only thing that partially remedies it, is switching from 1080 23.98 psf to 720 59.94, which plays everything at the correct 1080size, but twice as fast. Major problem for clients! Tested sending signals out of FCP, Color, AE at that same setting, all is ok.

I’ve opened other projects, they seem unaffected by the scaling.

It’s just this one project with 3 sequences. SOmetimes opening the project, SDI 1080 out is interlaced. Very weird.

    Tried restarting, repairing permissions, etc.

Is you project set to 720p? How about you output image scaling? Frame rate playback is independent of project. I suggest a glance through the manual on config settings. This doesn’t sound like a bug to me. Just mismatched settings.

Thanks for the reply Juan. I wish it were mismatched settings. It’s now happening at random in single timeline projects where Resolve automagically scales full 1080 down to 720 out SDI.
