August 22, 2012 at 4:37 pmI started just taking Sascha’s old one and upping the resolution to 4096×2160. Seems to work as expected (basically is 4 times harder for the cards). I put some results in this thread, but didn’t have a 580×3 set up to test, I’d be curious what you get.
Cheers,
KC

What is the rest of your config? Are they “stock” 570’s? Curious about OS and pci chassis you are using.

August 30, 2012 at 5:28 pmWhat i dont understand from this test,
1 what is the file you are using ?
2 you can manipulate the settings to give better playback, I suppose they are stock.
But I dont have stock settings, I just use 2 settings for playback/grading and for rendering.using and H264 shot from the tutorial that came whit R9b3 I have 9,5fps if I use my renderings settings and 24 with the grading settings.
I can go up to 20nodes at 22fps using my grading setup.
My hard:
hackintosh i7 2600k
Gt120 / GTX 460Di Davinci Resolve Colorist

September 8, 2012 at 7:14 pmis there an update to this test file?
I cant seem to find step by step instructions.
I downloaded the tar file but no instructions as to which image to use for testing.
better yet, I have a few sequential DNG files from a Black Magic Cinema, its 2.5K res and would like to use that as a test option.
