I recently did the dailies on a Red Epic HDRx job and will be doing the finals but on some of the folders I noticed that there were 3 identical files. They are are all different in size. Has anyone ever seen this? I am new to the HDRx work flow and not quite sure what the 3 files are for. Anyone shed some light on this?
    Thanks

Just one question, do you have set the file extensions to be hidden ?
Red files will be split every 2 GB and the segments are named the same .
I know, its like asking if you plugged in the power, but anyway 🙂

    as sascha say
HDRX does not produce extra R3D files , everything is just bigger size and embedded inside the same R3D files …

    Hello Dave,

Does the R3D look like the attached image?

EPIC R3Ds are 4 GB split.

The only thing you need to check, does REDcineX (Pro or normal) see the shot as one continues shot with the HDRx A and X track?

    Cheers,
    Robert

Sorry typed too quickly – meant to say:
