    Hi,

Im doing a project on RED, exporting EDL (16) from Avid into Resolve.
The 3rd-files are loaded, but the timecodes on every clip is not correct.
I have checked the original files in Avid and they are the same as the EDL list. Resolve show other timecodes than the original files.

Any ide what I have done wrong?

My solution is to change the timecodes in Resolve to match the EDL, but thats not a proper workflow for longer projects.

Are the frame rates in all your configurations consistent?

Is your timeline conformed at 23.98? If it is at a diffeent rate than the offline, that could cause the picture to shift.

Its conformed at 25, and the clips are also shot in 25 frames.

Perhaps you need to generate the EDL with the Time of Day TC. That may be under the Aux Timecode column in Media Composer. Maybe that will link up to the right picture in Resolve. Worth a try?

Red files carry two time codes, time of day and absolute. Make sure you’re using the same set of time codes in both Avid and Resolve.
