Hi Chad, is this a single or dual quad core?
It may not relate to the digital powerhouse message but with 2010 MacPro its best to use 6, 12 or 24GB ram based on the way the CPU threading works. Can you try with 12?

Single quad core. I suppose I could take a stick of Ram out but I don’t think the system likes having unbalanced ram. Any other ideas I could try?

Does anyone have any ideas I could try? I installed Blackmagic Decklink v8.6 and then uninstalled it completely from the system and re-installed Resolve. This made it come out as version 7.9.5. CUDA driver 4.0.50 and GPU driver version 7.4.10 270.05.05f01

Should I try a different CUDA version or GPU driver? Uninstall it then reinstall Resolve? Any clues would be great because at the moment I can’t render a single full res R3D without errors and black frames. Even half debayer sometimes kills it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is a known issue on Lion with 8.0.1. A fix for this will be available in the upcoming 8.1.

So what is everyone doing in the meantime? Not running on Lion? I thought some folks were up and running on Lion without problems.
