AJA Kona video-card as well as alternative control surface status?
I’m just wondering what the status is in regards of DaVinci support for other video-boards than BMD, specifically the AJA Kona 3-series. Also, what’s the status on support for other control surfaces than the WAVE?

Dang, it didn’t seem THAT far off at IBC. “We’re just finalizing our API for other developers”. I really hope BMD plays nice here given I get they want to increase hardware-sales… What BMD-card is similar to a Kona 3? Does anyone have experience with the two? Our Kona-cards have been rock-solid and are the last hardware I’d like to replace.

Looking roughly at what the KONA3 does, the Blackmagic Decklink HD Extreme 3D will be what you’re looking for. If you need a BoB, you should have a look at the Multibridge.
