  Quick Question about stroke effect

  Hi,
  Is there a way to add a stroke effect to only 3 of the 4 sides of an object, instead of all sides? I don’t want to mask one side out, because then I’m also loosing a part of the object.

  If you use 3 open path masks on the layer then apply the Stroke effect 3 times, each instance set to use one of the masks.

  The trick is in the compositing settings or what the effect refers to as “Paint Style” for the Stroke effect –  any instances subsequent to the first one should be set to “On Original Image”.
