  • Alter adjustment layer’s mask path to match different frame rate?

Posted by Matthew Wood on May 17, 2015 at 5:20 am

Hello. I keyframed an adjustment layer’s mask several thousand frames and didn’t realize, until after, that I had not interpreted the footage correctly to 23.976. So the keyframes on the mask layer are at 29.97.

As soon as I correct the footage’s frame rate, it is all thrown off. I remember seeing something awhile ago regarding batch adjustment of keyframes but not sure how or if that can accurately match the correct frame rate. Thanks

I just adjusted the layer’s speed and can see that that would work if anyone knows the exact percentage I need to make it to match 23.976 from 29.97. It has been way too long since I have had to use division for percentages, no idea how to do that, at moment.

Select the keyframes you want to modify in time and hold Alt while dragging the first or last in the range to proportionately expand or contract them.

Ah, yes, thank you. I attempted the Alt drag with keyframes in the middle, somehow I missed that it had to be on end. Thanks, again,
Walter, that is two for two.
