  Photoshop cursor key distance

  On Mac CS4 Photoshop, I recorded a measurement using shift command M (150 pixels -y)
  That worked as I got the popup palette.
  I switched to the move tool and used the cursor key on a layer set, but it did not nudge 150 pixels.

  Has anyone else been able to get this to work?
