I’ve had reasonable results from printing both printable CDs and DVD-Rs as
well as 4×6 prints using this inexpensive printer.

However when I print from photoshop, photoshop always clips a portion of the image around the edges,
i.e. doesn’t print the whole image eventhough I’ve set it exactly to 4×6
in the case of prints, or the images I want to print on the CDs and
    DVD-Rs.

How do I calculate the “real” image size the print should conform with for
printing the “entire” image to these media? Is there a table anyone can
    think of? Like 4×6 is really= to….

    Thanks for your collective wisdom.

Check out Print with Preview command and also look at your image size to ensure how big it really is

Suggest if resolution baffles you, pick up “Understanding Adobe Photoshop”

I believed I was asking about a specific printer as in the header, howeverwhen I print from photoshop, photoshop always clips a portion of the image around the edges, i.e. doesn’t print the whole image eventhough I’ve set it exactly to 4×6 in the case of prints, or the images I want to print on the CDs and DVD-Rs.

The above was the question I was posing. I always use preview, and I do believe I understand resolution issues, but I do not understand why photoshop clips/crops a actually sized images of 4″x6″ when sent to this printer for printing on 4×6 paper.

I was also wondering if anyone knows of an excellent discussion group for Epson printers?

    Thanks for your collective wisdom.

You are coming off a bit snotty…. I of course say you were using a specific printer…. msot do not use Print with preview (and you can also choose scale iamge to fit media from there or center it). If you need a psecifc forum on Epson… try theit site.

Hi, I am having the exact same problem (Photoshop with Epson R200). I’m wondering if this is documented anywhere, either on Adobe’s or Epson’s site.
